TRUE BLUE X TWO

Well this weekend in football was a winning weekend for our home. First we were able to watch the University of Michigan FINALLY win a game convincingly and it appears we might have a quarterback. GO BLUE!!

Then on Saturday night we watched the much anticipated BYU/OKLAHOMA game. We invited several devoted BYU fans to our home and had a pre-game party and then watched the game. There was a lot of emotion displayed during the game but unfortunately I was one of the ones jumping and yelling too so my pictures are not that great. After the momentous win over Oklahoma our whole basement was erupting with yelling, screaming and jumping around and then my favorite part of the whole evening was the spontaneous singing of the cougar fight song. I loved watching my boys as all these BYU alumni stood and sang that song. After I ask my boys what they thought and they said, "that was awesome."

Anxiously waiting for the game to start

Recent BYU grads-and very emotional when it comes to BYU!!

Game has started-notice the Oklahoma fan in the back left corner. He didn't
stick around until the end and later he told me he was glad

The only shot I have at the end of the game when it was official that BYU had won
was of Carter. I guess this says it all.
RISE AND SHOUT THE COUGARS ARE OUT!!
How do you think the Cougars will do this year??

That was a sweet game! Yesterday was pretty awesome, too. We are catching a lot of grief here in Meridian for being such big Y fans. BSU fans do not particularly like BYU this year. When the boys wear their BYU shirts other kids taunt them saying BYU sucks, etc. Oh well, it won't stop us.
