On Saturday our family went to our first ever cross country meet.
We really didn't know what to expect so we took our hour trip to
the high school where the meet was being held. When we arrived
there were about 12 high schools competing and everyone had
a tent set up with all there junk in it.
The Varsity runners were already warming up. So we waited for the horn and then just followed the crowd of parents. I wanted to get pictures of Brady running at different times in the course which meant running through fields that were wet and had weeds 2.5 ft tall. So I was soaked from my knees down. Just so you know...I wasn't the only parent doing this.
The Varsity runners run a 3.3 mile course through various trees, fields, and tracks. It was a very flat course so the times were pretty fast.
Half way done!!
him in the top 25% of Varsity Runners.

Yeah Brady! We are very proud of you! I think you are pretty amazing!
We have a friend here who is a HUGE cross country runner...in his late 30's. He recently got back from a 65 mile run in Europe and I believe he placed in the top 10%, which is what he needed to be considered for the Olympics.
Love you!
cool dude! I wish I could run like that...
Wow Braydon, Keep up the good work. I am impressed with your running skill. This is fun to see you on screen...Yea!!! xoxox
