So let's pretend that today is Saturday August 21st.
So the conversation goes like this..... SHAWN: "Joella, I've got appts next wednesday night."
ME: Well, next wednesday we have dinner with the Smiths."
SHAWN: " I thought that was on the 25th?"
ME: "It is on the 25th."
SHAWN: Well that is this Wednesday, not next wednesday."
ME: "Next Wednesday is the next wednesday coming up."
SHAWN: "No, next Wednesday is the Wednesday after this Wednesday
ME: "AHHH"
So...When is Next Wednesday?? Please tell me.

Haha. This is always a debate between David and me (me and david??). I'm with your husband on this one though and David is with you. I always thought THIS Wednesday is this coming Wednesday and NEXT Wednesday is the NEXT one after the one coming up. Who knows though!
