A Few Firsts

Well over the past couple of days Brady has had a few firsts. On Tuesday he went and took his FIRST and second (because if you don't pass the first time you can take it again right away)permit test and he passed!! (Thankfully he studies for "real" tests-because apparently this wasn't for real). So he can officially drive with us. He took advantage of it for the next day and a half until he left for Utah by himself for the FIRST time. He will be gone 10 days. While he is there he will be staying with his cousins and attending EFY along with other things. On Tuesday night-prior to him leaving-he had his FIRST and only Eagle Scout Court of Honor. He had it with 2 other boys from his troop. It was a very nice evening and we had a lot of help.

Because I am a little forgetful I don't have pictures of him at the License Bureau or at the airport-even though I had my camera with me. But I do have pictures of the Eagle Court of Honor because my neighbor was kind enough to come and be my photographer for the evening.

Each Eagle had a table that represented them

The Webelos posted the Colors for the evening. Carter is holding the American Flag

Do they look bored or what??

I simply REFUSE to believe that Brady is old enough to drive. How are we getting that old? Congrats to him on his Eagle!
