My Trip to The West Coast

Okay, so there is a lot more that has happened between my last post and today but I wanted to put these on so my kids could see what I have been doing the last few days while I have been on the West Coast. My wonderful husband sent me to see my parents in California. I arrived on Tuesday and then Wednesday morning my mom and I drove up to Southern Oregon to see my Aunts & Uncles and my cousins and all there beautiful children. Then today I drove over to the California Coast where my sister and her family live. So here are a few pictures of places and people I have seen. I still have until Tuesday so more pictures will surely come.

This car was driving along the highway right as we entered Oregon. Those are poker chips all over the car and on the top are large dogs. I'm thinking Shawns car might look good like this.

Amanda and Jolenes kids enjoying some delicious cake made by Aunt Rose.

Aunt Kitten and my sister Kim catching up on a few things.

Everyone waiting for dinner to be served.

My cousin Shannon and her daughter Fallon and the twins Ava & Asher

Kim and Luella at the Beach in Crescent City

It was so Beautiful

This part was called Pebble Creek because of the "Pebbles" out in the ocean.

This is a view out of Aunt Terri's and Uncle Darryl's front deck. Oregon is so beautiful.

These deer are right out back of Kim's house and there were four others right next to them.
The live in Loleta, California right by the Ocean. So beautiful.

That car reminds me of the pinewood derby car one of your boys made a couple of years ago. I think it was Justin, but it had dogs all over it. Funny.
Have a great trip!

Hi, Joella! You are right, Oregon IS beautiful! I've only been once, but I fell in love with all the green. It looks like you are having a fabulous time! How great that you got to have a little getaway.

I had to smile when I saw that you have a Luella in your family, too. That's my grandma's name, and I've never heard of anyone else with it.

I can't believe your Justin is a teenager! What in the world?! He sounds like such a great kid (of course he is - look at his parents!).

Hope all the Shanklins have a great summer!
