Ryker's riding a bike

Last Saturday I was at a Womens Conference at church and when I came home everyone was so excited because Ryker had learned to ride a bike. What they didn't know is that the only thing Ryker would want to do for the next 7 days is ride his bike. I was afraid to ride my bike along with him because what if he got to tired and needed me to carry his bike? So needless to say I got quite a workout everyday following him around the neighborhood, to the kids school and back, up and down the hill of doom and guess what?? He never got tired once! And notice the pink helmet. When you live in a neighborhood of girls you get pink hand me downs--he doesn't mind but Justin does.

Ryker also has this wire basket tied to the back of his bike that he keeps all his treasures in. As you can imagine it is quite upsetting when he crashes and everything falls out.

We have this house at the end of our cul-de-sac and it was labeled "the hill of doom" by our kids when they were young and that name has continued for the last 7 years. So now Ryker calls it the hill of doom. Although it doesn't look that scary to you-a three year old thinks it's pretty incredible to make it down the hill without crashing.

Ryker setting up his bike getting ready to go down.

Ryker holding on for dear life and screaming whoo hoo!!

SUCCESS!!!!

That pink helmet is killing me. He is so confidently riding with his pink helmet and basket of treasures. Oh to be a little kid.
